U14 Lady Reds winning the Sandwich Summer Slam last weekend

The Northern IL Lady Reds 14U softball team finished first in the USSSA Sandwich Summer Slam softball tournament in Sandwich, IL last weekend. The tournament featured teams from throughout Chicago area and Indiana. In pool play, the Lady Reds beat Elwood Energy by a score of 15-3, RedHawks Navy 7-3, and Windy City Rage 4-2. Going into games on Sunday as the number 1 seed, Won the game against Crown Point Crush 10-1, and Windy City Rage 10-3 and advanced to the championship game to defeat Woodridge Lightning by a score of 9-8.
