Northern IL Reds 13U

The Northern IL Reds 13U baseball team finished first in the UCOY Diamond Dust Up baseball tournament in Yorkville, IL last weekend. In pool play, the Reds beat Warriors Baseball by a score of 8-6 and the Batavia Bulldogs Red by a score of 10-1. The Reds were the number 1 seed going into bracket play and faced the number 2 seed Batavia Bulldogs Red in the championship game. The Reds were down 8-6 going into the bottom of the 7th and scored 3 runs to secure a 9-8 victory and the championship. This is the Reds 3rd tournament championship this season.
